I’m often told I have a lot of hats, both literally and figuratively. I am reminded of that old adage “jack of all trades… master of none”. But here is the thing, if you wear a lot of hats, it is not which hat you have on, that matters. As long as when you do things, when you have things to say, you are genuine and give it all you’ve got. If you can draw from all your disciplines, faculties and life experiences to inform and shape your work, well then how can you go wrong? In my humble opinion, Mastery in a narrow field is probably overrated, what about applying oneself to a broad spectrum of work, genres and skills? Perhaps, not unlike being a tiny little bit of a ‘21st century Renaissance’ man? I would be happy with that, or simply being referred to as a multihyphanate.

Credo: explore, discover, learn, teach, be kind and tell your story.

A good story is everything.
